Private Aviation Technology and Travel Security
Your aircraft operator looks after the aircraft. We look after the laptops, phones, connections and data that travel on it.

Overview
Principals and executives who fly privately often work in the air and land in places where their devices are a target. We prepare and secure the devices that travel, set up and support the passenger side of in-flight connectivity with your aircraft operator, and give travellers a clear routine for borders, hotels and unfamiliar networks.
What we look after
Device preparation
Laptops, phones and tablets updated, encrypted, backed up and tested before departure.
Passenger connectivity
Passenger Wi-Fi accounts, devices and VPN set up and tested with the operator.
Secure communications
Encrypted messaging, calls and file sharing that work over aircraft and hotel networks.
Travel routines
Border crossings, travel devices, lost-phone plans and checks on return.
Where our work stops and the operator's starts
We do not maintain aircraft, avionics or any installed aircraft equipment, and we do not touch anything that needs aviation approval. The aircraft operator or management company owns the aircraft systems and the connectivity hardware. We work on the passenger side: the devices people bring on board, the accounts and settings used to connect, and how data is protected in transit. When the connection misbehaves, we check the devices and settings first and give the operator clear information to act on.
Travel security is mostly preparation. Before a trip we confirm devices are current and backed up, remove data that does not need to travel, make sure the traveller can reach email and files securely, and agree what happens if a phone is lost or taken. After a sensitive trip we review the devices and accounts that came back.
A pre-departure checklist
We keep this list short so it actually gets done before each trip.
For frequent travellers we set the devices up once so most of these items are already true, and the check before departure becomes a quick confirmation rather than an afternoon of updates.
- Operating system and apps updated on every device that is travelling.
- Full-disk encryption on, a strong passcode set, and biometric unlock reviewed for the trip.
- A recent backup confirmed, so a lost device is an inconvenience rather than a loss of data.
- Unneeded files, accounts and saved sign-ins removed from devices crossing a border.
- VPN and encrypted messaging tested on the device before departure, not on board.
- The lost-device routine agreed: who the traveller calls and what will be locked or wiped.
How a private client engagement starts
Every private client engagement follows the same four stages, whatever the size of the household.
Confidential call
People, properties and concerns discussed in confidence before anything is written down.
Inventory
Every account, device, network and property system listed with its owner.
Secure
Sign-in, recovery, networks and devices fixed in order of risk.
Look after
Updates, monitoring and a direct line, with records kept current as the household changes.
Frequently asked questions
No. Connectivity hardware on the aircraft is the responsibility of the operator and its approved maintenance provider. We look after passenger devices, accounts and security settings, and coordinate with the operator when there is a problem.
Travel with only the data you need. For some trips that means a separate travel phone or laptop with limited accounts, full-disk encryption and files kept in the cloud rather than on the device. Get legal advice for your own situation; we set up the technical side.
Treat it like any shared network. Use a VPN or apps that encrypt end to end, keep devices updated, and do not approve sign-in prompts you did not start. We configure devices so the secure option is the default.
The traveller calls one number. We locate, lock or wipe the device, sign it out of email and banking apps, and arrange a replacement restored from backup.
